The Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County is holding their second harmony walkathon. The money raised by pledges goes to such causes as feeding and educating new immigrants as well as investigating and raising consciousness about race-based hate crimes—crimes whose motivations are often overlooked by the authorities. I walked last fall and enjoyed myself despite the dropping temperature...but this time it's May 21st so it should be nice.
